As mentioned in a previous post, I was going to go through and reserve a bunch of “Cash for Content” articles on Associated Content and complete them. Well, I just sat down to write them and noticed they weren’t offering an up-front cash payment - only the performance payment.
So I scrapped that idea.
You see, Associated Content pays you one of two ways. You can either get a per article rate, or just stick with the performance payment which is based on a revenue sharing system (I think). So the amount varies from month to month.
But if you submit an article for up front payment, you also get the performance pay on it once it’s published. So I much prefer to do that.
I’ve learned over the years that maximizing the money you make with your articles is definitely the way to go. Spending a lot of time to research and write an article that I’ll make a few cents on just doesn’t seem worth it.

yes that makes sense. Upfront and residual is always the way to go..
