My policy over the past few weeks has been to tackle one social site at a time. So far I’ve been twittering, digging, and stumbling. Now, I’m adding social networking sites to the mix.
When I first started social networking, I signed up for myspace and facebook and proceeded to build my profiles and add friends. But then things got complicated, especially with facebook. I think the sites got TOO huge, and I felt myself disappear in the crowd.
I don’t like that feeling.
So, I’ve been turning to sites like Chicks Who Click, an invite-only network for women, and Trigeia, a network that gives you an identity based on your passions. The goal is to have your profession BE your passion. I like that. I signed up as a writer because no matter what I end up doing to make money, writing will always be my number one.
I know I’m not alone in how I feel about the mega-huge social networking sites. Facebook has so many apps, most of which I don’t EVER use, it’s really overwhelming. All I want/ need is the ability to add friends, direct messaging, a place to list my bio, and a blog.

Thanks for the Great Words! At Trigeia we believe that Passion is the key to happiness. If you find what you love you will never work another day in UR life. We understand that and wanted to take another angle in Social networking and how users identify them selves online. Wouldn’t it be cool if you could be identified throughout the entire world wide web by your passion? What if the network that provided that for you could help you to accomplish your Dream and take your passion to another level? Welcome to Trigeia where UR passion is your identity!
