I keep 30 lb. dumbbells next to my desk and do a couple sets every 30 minutes or every hour. No, it’s not my normal workout routine, but it gets me out of my chair, and over time, it does help.

I also have an exercise bike I use and a weight bench and full weight room in my basement. I use it more in the winter since I can walk outside in the nice weather.

Lately, I haven’t done anything remotely close to working out and I feel it. It does help a lot. Not only do you feel better about yourself mentally, you physically feel better, which in turn makes it easier to focus on your work.
