I love starting new blogs and lately I’ve been having fun starting blogs through networks like Orble and Today.com. It gives me some variety. Even though I have several blogs of my own with their own domains, these blog networks offer a lot of perks.
The latest is a blog I started called Writer Girl which focuses on my life as a freelance writer and also offers helpful tips. Today, I posted about where I find my freelance writing jobs and markets. I listed a few websites that I check all the time that I’ve found to be the most helpful.
At first, I had mixed emotions about starting blogs on different networks, but I’ve decided to stick with it. I can cross promote my other blogs and articles that I’ve written on related topics and also develop a solid readership. Today.com pays per post and per page views and Orble.com has you share the Adsense revenue. I don’t expect to directly make a lot of money from either one, but I weighed the pros and cons and decided to stick with it.
I wrote about why I decided to stick with writing at today.com despite the fact that the pay is rather low here.
