Hi Katherine,

First, thank you so much to your supportive comment on my article at freelancewritinggigs.com (Don’t Quit Your Day Job)- I really appreciate it.

Also, I have learned so much from your post about how to get traffic to websites. While I am already a member of hubpages, I am excited about your suggestions to join twitter and visit forums, those are two avenues I have not exhausted in the hunt for traffic!

Thanks again for your helpful contributions (on multilple levels) and know you are always an honored guest at http://www.thelifeuncommon.net!

:)

Wow, I thought I had come to the wrong site! You’ve been switching your “house” around, girl!

I had been meaning to ask you what you thought about hub pages. It’s something I’ve been thinking a lot about too, but just haven’t made time to do…

*smiles*

@Isolde - No problem! I am one of those writers who ended up taking on projects just because they paid. I’ve stopped doing that but I sort of look at that time period as my “stay at home” equivalent of not quitting my day job.

@Michelle - Yes, I’ve moved things around a bit. :) I needed a different template - the three column style made a lot of things a little more complicated than I wanted them to be.

About hubpages - they are similar in some respects to squidoo and they tend to favor hubs with A LOT of content.
