2007 Tax Preparation - Not Quite a Disaster, But Close

Sunday night my husband informed me that he never gave me his W-2 to give to the accountant. The sad thing is, I didn’t even notice! On top of that, I didn’t have any business records for March and April. Did they get lost, or did I fail to even keep track during those months? I can’t even remember.

This is not a good breeding ground for success. It’s comical and quite sad that my bookkeeping is so terrible. And, I’m the one who’s in charge of it for the household. I’ve realized that my current system of post-its, a calendar, multiple spreadsheets, and a giant pile of mail that I haven’t gone through for several months is not a very good one. Of that system, the calendar is really the only thing with any redeeming qualities.

So I’m seriously considering purchasing Quicken Premier Home and Business. What do you think? Is this a good program or should I purchase something else?
